Division of Teams or Splitting of Teams
General Guidelines for Team Splitting
3rd through 5th Grade – if the numbers of players and Coaches allow, teams shall be split into groups for playing in games to allow greater playing time for all players. (i) The teams after being split shall have no fewer than eight (8) players per team. (ii) The teams shall be split approximately equally in terms of skill level
6th Grade – if the numbers of players and Coaches allow, teams shall be split into groups for playing in games to allow greater playing time for all players. (i) The teams after being split shall have no fewer than eight (8) players per team. (ii) For the “league season”, the teams shall be split approximately equally in terms of skill/experience level. (iii)After the “league season”, the teams shall be split into groups by skill/experience level. The Pulaski High School Coaching staff and the President shall be the final determinant of which players end up in which group
